REGISTER FOR THE 2024 WINTER SEASON NOW
NVNA offers all Netball NSW registered members the opportunity to participate in fun and competitive netball competitions.
Our main netball competitions run over the winter months with games being played on a Saturday. Key dates for the 2024 season are:
- Saturday 6 April 2024 – Grading Day
- Saturday 27 April 2024 – First Competition Round
- Saturday 24 and 31 August – Finals
- 6th April 2024 – Grading Day

We run competitions for the following age groups:
NET
For 5-6 year olds
Activities on grass courts.
Register with your club of choice
SET
For 7-8 year olds
Played on grass courts.
Register with your club of choice
GO
For 9-10 year olds
Played on hard courts.
Register with your club of choice
U14 Mixed JUNIOR A
For 11-14 year olds
Register with your club of choice
U14 Mixed JUNIOR B
For 11-14 year olds
Register with your club of choice
Registrations
Players aged 5-14 years should register directly with one of our clubs – Beaches or Rivers.
All players older than 14 register directly with NVNA.
Competitions
NVNA Winter Netball Season
Our main competitions are held on a Saturday from April through to September. The competition caters for players of all standards and ages (from 5 years).
We encourage both new and experienced players to get involved. Or if you’re thinking about a return to netball after a few years’ break, we welcome you back with open arms.
Fast 5
We run a Fast 5 competition in summer, usually in February and March. Fast 5 is fun, social and dynamic.
It’s netball like you’ve never seen before featuring dynamic rules changes including five players a side, shorter quarters, power plays and super shots.
Representative Opportunities
We offer representative opportunities and pathways. We also host a representative carnival during the year.
Koori Gala Day
NNSW Koori Gala Days are held once a year in various locations around NSW. 2022 will be NVNA’s first year hosting the gala on Sunday 24 July. It’s a free family day that brings the community together and also provides NNSW an opportunity to select coaches, umpires and athletes to attend the Indigenous Emerging Talent Camp in Sydney.
