Volunteer and umpiring

Lots of ways to get involved with netball

If playing netball is not your thing but the idea of being around a sport you love is, then we’ve got plenty of ways for you to get involved.

Take a look at some of the volunteering opportunities below. You’ll be joining a team of like-minded, enthusiastic people who help make netball so great in the Nambucca Valley.

Umpiring

Without umpires the game stops. So we’re always on the lookout for umpires. You’ll be supported while you learn. Plus we have development pathways for umpires to progress their skills.

Coaching

Coaching is an extremely rewarding job so if you’re looking to get involved with netball this is a great option. We have a supported and guided approach for new coaches to get involved. To find out more contact nvnasecretary@gmail.com

General Volunteering Roles

It takes a lot of people for competition days and carnivals to run smoothly. If you’re keen to help out but not sure how, then get in touch. We have lots of opportunities from helping out in the canteen and setting up marquees to cooking a sausage sizzle or setting up goal posts and pads.

Plus there are lots of things to do behind the scenes including administration, uniform allocations and helping coordinate playing days.

The NVNA community is special.  Our people are what makes it such an outstanding club, so getting involved with the association is a great way to meet new people.

NVNA volunteers are the best

Our volunteers are truly special people. We can’t thank you enough for the time, dedication and support you give to netball. It’s a great sport, with so many people who work together in all sorts of different ways to keep netball thriving in the Nambucca Valley.

We thank you.
